Mac Boucher The Sling God
Mac Boucher is the Sling GOD. I have never in my life seen somebody work the golf ball the way he does. Mac, who is based in Canada and spends his summers in Dubai is a former Makenzie Tour pro who played the 2012-13 season, as well as the 2013-14 season. Mac, now has stepped away from professional golf to pursue his social media career as well as being a Golf Pro giving virtual and in person lessons.
From hitting a 200 yard sling to a fop shot 7 wood Mac has a ball flight like no other. Due to a wrist injury towards the end of his professional career it has caused him to hit more steep on the ball making it more comfortable to play these outrageous Fades and Draws. Not only is he one hell of a golfer, he is an outstanding content creator. Mac has reached an audience through Tik Tok and Instagram that not many other golfer content creators have done. Mac posts daily hole videos where he shows off his Slings and draws. His commentary on his clips are next level, From a high diesel honda to a banana ripper he keeps me dying with the dialogue after every shot.

Now one of my favorite things about Mac is what is in his golf bag. Mac has one of the coolest setups in the game. He recently did a video with TXG (Tour Experience Golf) going over what was in his bag and we got an inside look at some of his clubs. Mac rocks a Stealth Driver with an accra, Stealth 7 wood, And the TaylorMade P-7 MB Irons. My favorite club mac rocks in his bag is his hand me down Tour Edge Exotics from 2008. This club is caked up in lead tap on the heel and the back of the driver. Mac can hit a 290 draw with or a 240 spinny slicky cut into a par 5 with this gem. One of the beauties of this game is that the technology will get better but it is the player that makes these Slings happen.
Over the past few months Mac has run into classic social media dilemmas of people accusing him of being a fraud. I could see the perspective of someone who is watching Mac for the first time pull off some of these shots and have no faith in it being real, as he is a magician with the ball. It only makes sense for people to call him out, he is too good. He continues to prove people wrong, He has started to take two different angles from some of his more ridiculous shots just to shut the haters up. I am glad that I stumbled across Mac on my For You Page on TikTok a few months ago. I can always rely on him for quality golf artistry.
